Although neither Bloom nor Norton list "Right On" as being in the show, the liner notes to Homeschooled claim that it was written for the show. Perhaps it was in the version of the show that tried out in San Francisco, where composer Merl Saunders, Sr.and his family were from. Merl Saunders was, after all, the co-author of the show's arrangements and the show's musical director. Or the liner notes may be mistaken, having assumed it was written for the show because the song on the flip side was.
