Act I: TROUBLE IN TAHITI (M/L: Leonard Bernstein):

No recordings were made by the original cast members of this one-act opera.  The opera was revived in 1958 by the New York City Opera.  A 1958 television soundtrack featuring the two leads from 1958 revival was issued as MGM E3646 [reissued as CD/Polydor 827 854-2], and the opera has been recorded a number of times since.   It was also incorporated by Bernstein as a flashback sequence in his opera A QUIET PLACE.
